Guest Rooms

Your comfort is our goal.

Roses from the garden King or queen platform beds with firm foam mattresses, fine sheets and pillows offer a good night's rest. Bedrooms measure approximately 15' x 15' and have comfortable seating and lighting for reading or relaxing in private. Every room has a selection of books - plays, novels, mysteries, diaries - as well as current magazines. Terrycloth bathrobes are provided.

Our decor features a rich color scheme for an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Every room has a selection of original artworks in keeping with its theme. The window treatments and bedspreads are unique to Heaven Scent.

Bearded iris from the garden There will be fresh flowers from the garden - usually roses - and scented candles in safe containers. While there is a bottled water dispenser in the entry hall, we also put bottled water in your room.

Guest Bathrooms at Heaven Scent

Roses and jasmine from the garden Older houses have their special charm. This house only dates to 1940, but its arched bathroom windows seem unique.

Older houses have their limitations, too. Our three guest bathrooms are small, and the layout does not invite expansion. But we have put all new fixtures in all three, and done our best to make the spaces attractive and efficient. On the ground floor, the high ceilings help.

They are very difficult to photograph, but on the following pages we offer a few views to give you some idea. All the bathrooms have two or more mirrors, and working exhaust fans. They all have pedestal sinks and ADA-height toilets. Items supplied in each bathroom are: shampoo and conditioner (Fructis or Pantene), shower gel, bar soaps, liquid hand soap, Olay facial cleansing cloths, Neutrogena or Pears facial cleanser, Jergens or Vaseline Intensive Care body lotion, Listerine or Scope mouthwash, disposable razors, and individual-dose eyedrops. If there are other toiletries you need and have forgotten, just ask - chances are we can come up with them.
