Chick Cove Manor: The Outbuildings

From the days of this being a working farm, there are outbuildings. Some were for working, as there is an old rope elevator in one. Another seems to have been worker housing. Today, those two are out-of-bounds for guests, sorry to say, as their poor condition has them reduced to storage facilities. We look forward to being able to restore them...
The tremendous gambrel roof barn has a gorgeous loft. There are two horse stalls and several corn cribs. We think horses were last kept here in the 1950s or 1960s. We would be glad to see horses here again...
In the 1930s and 1940s, this was a very large chicken farm, and locals say there were rows of chicken houses leading right down to the water. Only one such structure remains; it later had its south face removed for use as equipment bays. This one section of nesting boxes was left behind.
The last bay of this structure has a concrete floor and can be used for covered parking if you wish.
