Welcome to Heaven Scent B&B at Chick Cove Manor, a garden property between the rivers of Virginia's Middle Peninsula.

Set about 1000 feet back from the highway among magnolias and boxwood, with ten acres of fields and gardens, this 1940 farmhouse enjoys a peaceful and private setting. It is an ideal property for a romantic getaway or a family break.

Michael and I truly enjoyed the peace & solitude of this haven, Heaven Scent. We love your home and hospitality, & hope to return soon. Janet , Charlottesville, VA 8/20/2006

... as well as through our concern for your comfort. Rooms have king or queen beds, fine bedding, good reading light, comfortable seating, and thoughtfully furnished private bathrooms.

Let us host a delightful getaway: Choose total relaxation and comfort, perhaps with herbal teas, herbal baths, massages, a candlelight dinner ... or enjoy Rivah Country to the full, sailing, kayaking, fishing, golfing or swimming.

Pat, our stay with you has been so delightful - everything was wonderful and comfy! Your breakfasts were superb as was your company. The house and gardens are absolutely charming and I loved being able to "bird" in the morning dew. Buddy and Snickers are the perfect touch for animal lovers like us! Have a great summer season! We shall return!! Gail, Alexandria, VA and Denise, Sandy, UT 5/19/2008
Thanks for the wonderful stay in the Italian Room. Andy and I found the room fantastic, it along with your company were very much relaxing. Breakfast of salmon omelet was something I will probably request on my next visit. We are off to the sailboat race. Pete, Smithfield, VA 7/13/2008

Easy to find, right on Route 33, 3 miles east of Hartfield and Route 3, and 3 miles west of Deltaville and the Chesapeake Bay. Sailing, kayaking, golf and tennis are all close by. This is my first experience at a B&B. I had a great time. You are a wonderful hostess. I have felt so pampered. Being around your parents and Buddy and Snickers made me feel right at home. I'll be back. Rue, Fairfax, VA 7/20/2008
